Born in Ottawa, Rel!g!on is a young Canadian hip hop artist out of Vancouver, BC. Revelationz 1 seems to have all the sounds of the hip hop genre and shines light on many other artists, featured on all but four tracks. Right away, Track 2 gives off a west coast vibe that will "leave your head ringing", not unlike some classic Dr. Dre. A few tracks will even have you thinking Baby Blue Soundcrew. This CD is great because you can put it in, drive around, and not worry about hitting the skip button. Like Moka Only’s new flow? Check out Track 10, “Lucid”.
Revelationz 1 is building a lot of anticipation for Rel!g!on’s next album, “God of War ". Rel!g!on is living proof that Canadian hip hop has been taking it's protein shakes, likes going to the gym, and is getting bigger.
